Lipsa somnului face ca sarcinile zilnice s\u0103 par\u0103 mult mai dificile \u0219i cople\u0219itoare [9], deoarece sunt afectate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aten\u021bia,<\/li>\n<li>Memoria,<\/li>\n<li>Procesul decizional.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00cen timp, acest sentiment de competen\u021b\u0103 redus\u0103 poate alimenta percep\u021biile negative de sine \u0219i rumina\u021bia [10], ambele fiind caracteristici centrale ale depresiei.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Insomnia pe termen lung nu este doar un simptom, ci un factor de risc [11-13] deoarece suntem predispu\u0219i s\u0103 dezvolt\u0103m <a href=\"https:\/\/roneuro.ro\/blog\/suportul-psihologic-pentru-pacientii-neurologici\/\">anxietate sau depresie<\/a> \u00een viitor, chiar dac\u0103 ini\u021bial nu avem nicio tulburare de dispozi\u021bie.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Resurse \u0219i suport pentru pacien\u021bi<\/h2>\n<p>Dac\u0103 a\u021bi observat c\u0103 ave\u021bi un somn deficitar sau tulburat \u0219i prezenta\u021bi simptome de depresie, atunci o evaluare a somnului ar putea s\u0103 v\u0103 fie de ajutor. Acest fapt \u00eent\u0103re\u0219te stare depresiv\u0103 prin:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oboseal\u0103 persistent\u0103,<\/li>\n<li>Energie sc\u0103zut\u0103,<\/li>\n<li>Motiva\u021bie redus\u0103.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Depresia modific\u0103 structura somnului. Persoanele deprimate tind s\u0103 intre mai repede \u00een somnul REM (somn cu mi\u0219c\u0103ri rapide ale ochilor) \u0219i petrec mai mult timp din noapte \u00een aceast\u0103 etap\u0103 [18]. Dac\u0103 acesta este redus sau perturbat el devine ineficient.<\/p>\n<h2>Ce rol are somnul \u00een recuperarea din depresie?<\/h2>\n<p>Somnul este esen\u021bial \u00een recuperarea dup\u0103 depresie. \u00cembun\u0103t\u0103\u021birea somnului poate ameliora simptomele depresive, reduc\u00e2nd riscul de recidiv\u0103 [24,25]. \u00cembun\u0103t\u0103\u021birea calit\u0103\u021bii somnului favorizeaz\u0103:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reglarea emo\u021bional\u0103,<\/li>\n<li>Sc\u0103derea nivelurilor de stres,<\/li>\n<li>Recuperarea gradat\u0103 a func\u021biei cognitive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Toate acestea creeaz\u0103 o bucl\u0103 de feedback pozitiv \u00een care un somn mai bun sus\u021bine o dispozi\u021bie \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bit\u0103, ceea ce, la r\u00e2ndul ei, \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021be\u0219te somnul [26].<\/p>\n<h2>Care este rolul abord\u0103rilor terapeutice?<\/h2>\n<p>Abord\u0103rile terapeutice pun accentul pe somn ca element fundamental al \u00eengrijirii s\u0103n\u0103t\u0103\u021bii mintale [27]. <a href=\"https:\/\/roneuro.ro\/blog\/exercitii-de-antrenament-cognitiv\/\">Tratamentele psihologice<\/a> [28] pentru insomnie reduc <a href=\"https:\/\/roneuro.ro\/blog\/legatura-dintre-depresie-si-burnout\/\">simptomele depresive<\/a>, chiar \u0219i la persoanele cu depresie de lung\u0103 durat\u0103. Prin stabilizarea tiparelor de somn, aceste interven\u021bii ajut\u0103 la:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Restabilirea ritmurilor circadiene,<\/li>\n<li>Men\u021binerea echilibrului hormonal,<\/li>\n<li>Reglarea energiei,<\/li>\n<li>Stabilitatea emo\u021bional\u0103.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce somnul se \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021be\u0219te, cre\u0219te eficacitatea altor tratamente. Lipsa somnului m\u0103re\u0219te riscul de depresie prin perturbarea regl\u0103rii emo\u021bionale a hormonilor de stres \u0219i func\u021biei cognitive. Depresia modific\u0103 tiparele de somn, reduce calitatea somnului, amplific\u00e2nd suferin\u021ba emo\u021bional\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Somnul s\u0103n\u0103tos nu este un lux, ci o necesitate biologic\u0103 care protejeaz\u0103 bun\u0103starea emo\u021bional\u0103.
