Leg\u0103tura dintre somn \u0219i <a href=\"https:\/\/roneuro.ro\/blog\/cum-recunoastem-autismul\/\">autism<\/a> este complex\u0103 \u0219i bidirec\u021bional\u0103 [2] deoarece:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Problemele de somn agraveaz\u0103 simptomele autismului,<\/li>\n<li>Caracteristicile autismului (biologice \u0219i comportamentale) favorizeaz\u0103 tulbur\u0103rile de somn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Persoanele cu autism se confrunt\u0103 cu <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roneuro.ro\/specialitati\/somnologie\/2-uncategorised\/88-insomnia.html\">tulbur\u0103ri ale somnului<\/a> [3-5] precum dificult\u0103\u021bi de adormire, treziri frecvente, sau tulbur\u0103ri de ritm circadian [6]. Aceste tipare de somn difer\u0103 de cele ale popula\u021biei generale \u0219i apar ca rezultat al unor combina\u021bii de factori biologici, neurologici, psihologici \u0219i de mediu [7].<\/p>\n<p>Somnul\u00a0 are un rol esen\u021bial \u00een dezvoltarea creierului, \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare \u0219i reglare emo\u021bional\u0103 [8]. \u00cen cazul persoanelor cu autism, un somn insuficient sau fragmentat poate influen\u021ba negativ func\u021bionarea cognitiv\u0103, emo\u021bional\u0103 \u0219i comportamental\u0103.
